How do I load my eBook onto my device?

Locate and download the file format required for your device and then upload/transfer the file to your device.  The process for this varies by device and version so we highly recommend you check the instructions for your specific device.

Here is some information and links you may find useful.

For iPad and iPhones upgraded to iOS 4.x:

Download the ePub file. For reading your ePub, we recommend Apple's free iBooks app Follow these instructions to load the file onto your device.

For iPhone/iPad Touch with iOS 3.x:

Download the ePub file. You can use iTunes to add ePub files to your Apple devices. Follow the instructions at the bottom of this page Using iTunes to add ePub files to iBooks.

For Android:

Download the ePub file. We recommend the Aldiko reader. Follow these instructions to load the file onto your device. For Sony Reader: Download the ePub file. See Sony's support site for specific instructions to load the file.

For B&N NOOK HD:

Download the ePub file. See B&N's support site for more specific instructions to load the file.

For Amazon's Kindle Fire:

Download the .mobi file. See Amazon's support site

 

What if my device is not listed here? If the instructions for downloading to your device aren't listed here, please refer to the documentation for your device on how to load files from your computer. There's a good chance your device supports the ePub format.  At Flat World Knowledge, we test our books on common Mac and Windows PCs, Apple iPads, Apple iPhones, Amazon Kindle Fire, and B&N NOOK HD.
